Koilsagar Dam, located in Mahbubnagar District, Telangana, is a medium-sized irrigation project that beautifully combines historical significance with natural charm. Constructed during the Nizam government period (1945–1948) at a cost of ₹80 crores, the project was designed to meet the irrigation needs of nearly 12,000 acres of farmland. Even today, it continues to play a vital role in supporting agriculture in the region.

Built across the Peddavagu stream, a tributary of the Krishna River, Koilsagar Dam is set in a picturesque valley between two mountains, making it one of the most scenic spots in the district.
